What counselling is and is not

Counselling is a tool with skills of listening and talking which is not intellectual, but instead, is a way to explore feelings, experience emotions whilst learning how and what any, disrupting (personal to the individual) feelings and emotions mean, and how to put them into words, enough to fully understand what and why they are doing or expressing the way they are (OCD, depression, C-PTSD, anxieties, anger, self-harming etc) via an endless list of emotional self-regulating processes that afford release and relief for people who use them to regulate any personal, emotionally laden, crisis.

Counselling using acupuncture and essential oils is a technique which taps into the individual's natural energy (chi-Qi) to readjust a disruption of that energy towards mental and physical balance.

Meditation training of Tai Chi Chuan, Just Sitting, Breathing, Grounding and mindful focus will provide the meditations tools and skills to find a middle ground of peace of mind; which can be a learned provision of changing brain landscapes, and therefore, the way the brain focuses from a body-mind collaboration of physical postures and brain plasticity - which is an unconsious behaviour linked with a changing or developing brain.

Counselling Club is a group meeting which teaches and helps colabborating people who learn to apply counselling techniques without an oppressive or forced learning framework - although those who wish to take an academic route will be signposted towards a learning platform which tests their knowledge, however, academia is not as important as learning with others and identifying feelings and emotions towards self-awareness, confidence and freedom from mental or (somatic) physical stress and illness.

Counselling Club will have an ethical famework, vision and respectful confidntiality expected from each person as they share their time with others, and after any collaborating counselling group class, or one to one face to face meeting(s).
